Heyyyy I am anabela from portugal, im just gonna ask, what music did you use at the end and could you do this excact dance that we learned to any belly dancing music

My thighs got sore while doing it and I could not tell what side to start with on the upper body. So the warming up of the upper body didn’t seem to be what we were doing.

Some people mistakenly believe that belly dancing is "evil" or nasty or ungodly. Obviously they have not read the Bible where the dance is presented as reverent & celebratory in Exodus 15:20 ~ *Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances* In this blurb, the Israelites celebrated freedom from Egyptian captivity. The women danced and used timbrels (today called tambourines) in celebration of this victory. Over the centuries Miriam was the subject of a great many paintings in which she is dancing barefooted, with arms flailing in the air, instrument in hand, and celebrating. To this day timbrels and other forms of percussion are used in belly dance performances. See also Micah 6:4 ~ *I brought you up out of Egypt and redeemed you from the land of slavery. I sent Moses to lead you, also Aaron and Miriam.* Miriam was a LEADER. Her dance, wisdom, teaching, and prophecy strengthened the people who had been weakened by centuries of enslavement. Contrary to the myth that belly dance is not moral or decent, the Bible shows that it boosted morale and empowered people. Thus, the dance cannot possibly be wicked or ungodly. Instead, it is strength.
